Our Mission
To provide practical, hands on cooking experiences and create nutritional awareness to enable healthy, independent living
Our Vision
The Corner Table is a program designed to teach cooking skills to youth aging out of foster care and, in a new program, to young adults with Down Syndrome moving toward independent living. Our goal is to ease the transition for youth who are put in an unfamiliar position when entering the real world of becoming an adult. We hope to provide a space where our congregation and these young people can come together to share a meal.
